Trivia
- In March 2003, a man whose voice appeared in a 50-second phone message on the closing track "Pimp Slapp'd", a diss track aimed at then-Death Row CEO Suge Knight, filed a lawsuit against Snoop Dogg.
- The lawsuit was dismissed on February 3, 2004, under a ruling that privacy cannot be maintained while leaving a message on another's recording device.
- Pharrell later admitted he didn't think "Beautiful" would be a hit, even though the song became one.
- "Da Bo$$ Would Like to See You" contains a sample from "It's My House" as performed by Diana Ross.
- The album was announced for re-packaging with six pre-released versions of different album covers.
